i painted this years based on a picture i took in halifax. i was on a cruise ship waiting to leave port. it was pouring rain and we were about to head out into stormy waters. the tail end of a hurricane was heading up the coast. the ocean was choppy, the boat was rocking and i avoided eating dinner just in case i would be seeing that dinner again later.
i like the blue. i'll be back on a cruise ship in a bout a month, heading to bermuda. we might encounter some rough waters, but there will be no hurricanes. and hopefully no triangles.
